Does your summer schedule keep you busy and on the go? Smoothies are one of the simplest things to prep and plan ahead for to make it easy to blend, pour, and get out the door in the mornings. Here are a few of our tips on doing just that:

·     Cut up your fruit ahead of time and store it in the freezer in individual smoothie size servings.

·     Use an ice cube tray to freeze small portions of any liquid you like to add to your smoothies. Once frozen, pop them out of the tray and store in the freezer.

·     Premeasure any dry ingredients (chia, flaxseed, etc) and have them ready to go next to your blender.

Feeling extra ambitious to prep for the week ahead? Use a quart-sized reusable storage bag to store all of your smoothie ingredients (except for the liquid, unless you are pulling from your ice cube freezer stash) and store in your freezer. The night before, pull your bag out to defrost in the refrigerator. It’ll be ready when you’re ready in the morning!

Grab your cold, delicious, and refreshing smoothie and get going this summer—Adventure awaits!
